In the Gartner “Magic Quadrant for E-mail Active Archiving,” Veritas,
with its Enterprise Vault, is the only recognized leader, and EMC, with its
E-mailXtender, is the only recognized challenger.
All other vendors Gartner considers as visionaries (Zantaz, AXS-One) or niche
players (IBM, Open Text, iLumin, CommVault, C2C, ZipLip).
